In the first part of Sicario, we saw the ruthless, cruel, and non-compliant drug war on the US-Mexican border with the naive FBI agent. Three years later, South American drug cartels have discovered a new source of income: they are helping the jihadist fighters enter the United States for a great deal of rewards. In the face of a new threat, top US officials are releasing hands to their special agent, Meth Graveyard (Act Josh Brolin). This calls for help to his old acquaintance, the mysterious Alecandra (Benicio Del Toro). The latter arranges the kidnapping of a daughter of a drug cartel, so hoping to cause a cartel-to-war conflict. However, when this plan fails, and when events turn into a very unexpected turn, Alechandra is forced to rethink their priorities and values.
